NorthStarBets.com website is set to go live across Canada.

NorthStar Gaming has announced that its online casino and sportsbook will soon be available across Canada with the launch of NorthStarBets.com in the upcoming weeks.

Debuting in Ontario in May 2022, the NorthStar Bets gaming platform plans to go live in every province of Canada.

As part of its multi-channel promotional campaign to entice Canadian bettors, NorthStar created the tagline ‘That’s a Win’ and has been advertising nationally and online via social media, building up to the release of its betting platform nationwide.

Canadian customers can expect to see in-market promotions over the next two months surrounding major events across various regions of the country, including the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association and more.

Earlier this year, Playtech became a strategic investor in NorthStar Gaming, investing CA$12.25m (US$9m). NorthStar Gaming also recently unveiled its NorthStar Bets brand, which will provide iCasino and a Canadian sportsbook.

Back in April, NorthStar Gaming acquired 100% of Slapshot Media shares to enhance its footprint in the Canadian market. Alongside acquiring Slapshot Media, NorthStar Gaming also acquired Lakersbrasil.com to help the growth of basketball in Brazil.

Michael Moskowitz, Chair and CEO of NorthStar Gaming, commented, “We are thrilled to take this groundbreaking step and become a truly national brand.

"As a Canadian company, we are confident we understand local consumers better than the large international competitors and that we offer a premium experience that best meets their needs.

“We expect the Canada-wide launch to be an important catalyst that drives growth in our customer base and revenues for years to come.”
