DraftKings aims to raise $100,000 for breast cancer support this year.

DraftKings' S.E.R.V.E.S program and The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation have teamed up for their fifth annual ‘Pink’ Em’ charity event for breast cancer awareness month.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place between Sunday 1 October to Tuesday, 31 October 2023.

The Pink’ Em collaboration allows DraftKings players to raise money for breast cancer research and support while playing a pick’em style game.

For each of the first 20,000 prize pool entries, every week DraftKings will donate $1 to The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation, to fund breast cancer research along with support for people impacted by the disease.

The collaboration comes with a goal of raising $100,000 for breast cancer research this year. Since its launch five years ago, the initiative has raised over $430,000 in donations from customers through free-to-play Pink’ Em pools.

Pink ‘Em charity pools will be offered during weeks four through eight of the NFL Sunday schedule, and customers will be able to pick their team across each matchup to compete for a share of $5,000 in weekly DraftKings dollar prizes.

Matt Kalish, President of DraftKings North America, commented, “There is an enormous community that chooses DraftKings every week of the NFL season to engage with opening kickoffs, final whistles and each play in-between, but we recognize the significance of our reach and platform to go beyond entertainment alone.

“Together with The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation and our customers, I look forward to achieving this October’s donation goal and supporting a vital cause for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
