The company recently bid to place a casino next to the Trump Golf Links course.

Bally’s plans to launch a free 10-stop bus route in New York City near east Bronx, according to a local report in the Daily News. The company recently bid to build a casino at Ferry Point.

The new route is set to run for at least a three-month period, beginning next month, and will be able to seat 20 people. The company released details for the route earlier this week in a push for local elected officials to fully embrace its casino construction plan, according to the local report.

So far, local elected officials have responded well to the proposed casino plan. Bally’s bid involves building a casino near a Trump Organization-operated golf course called Trump Golf Links, which is currently not a heavily trafficked area.

Bally’s recently signed an agreement with the Trump Organization that transferred control over the golf course to the casino brand. The company said that the Trump name will “soon be removed from the links.”

The golf course is one of the stops for the new bus route.

In other company news, Bally’s Atlantic City implemented the new policy last week after receiving complaints about kids in the pool.

Bally’s released a statement regarding the ban and said access will be limited to those older than 21.

The company said in its social media statement, “Due to customer demand, Bally’s Pool & Fitness will be available to adults only (21+). Kick back, relax, and take a dip!”

Later this year, Bally’s plans to open a temporary casino in downtown Chicago. The temporary facility will be the forerunner to Bally’s latest Chicago resort.

Bally’s said it anticipates opening a permanent Chicago casino by 2026. The new venue will be home to 4,000 gaming positions, as well as to an exhibition hall, 500-room hotel, a 3,000-seat theater and 10 restaurants.
