Gaming America speaks to Leighton Webb, VP & GM, iGaming & Sports Betting at PayNearMe, about the MoneyLine platform and the goal of quick, all-in-one solutions.

What are you looking forward to exhibiting at G2E this year?

We look forward to attending G2E every year. It’s always a pleasure to get face-to-face time within the industry. Our team will have a strong presence and a meeting space where we’re excited to reconnect with colleagues, and share recent platform updates and feature enhancements with G2E attendees. We are also excited to share insights from our newest research study, which is a deeper follow-up to our 2022 research, and focuses on new and casual bettors. We’ll share data surrounding player behaviors, motivations and preferences — especially related to deposits and withdrawals.

What are you looking to get out of the event?

Our team looks forward to the in-person interaction with all of the gaming industry thought leaders. We jump at the opportunity to have one-on-one time with our partners, prospects and clients. We also look forward to hearing from all of the speakers and thought-leadership panels. It gives us a great opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technology, as well as industry trends and insights that guide us in making product enhancements. We’re definitely excited for the networking events, which are obviously top-notch in Vegas. Hosting events with our partners is always a highlight, since we get to invite our customers and colleagues to get together and learn more about each other in a relaxed environment.

We’d also love to walk away with a Global Gaming Award (or two)!

Have you entered any new markets?

PayNearMe is licensed to operate everywhere that online gambling is legal, so we’ve been expanding the MoneyLine platform to be available for all of our operators who have launched in newly legalized states. One of the big advantages we offer operators is that we’re available to get payments live on the same day that a new state launches. Helping operators fuel their market expansion efforts is a main focus of ours, so we want to get them live quickly.

For emerging and regional operators, we’re focusing on optimizing the MoneyLine platform to address their unique challenges, giving them an all-in-one payments solution that will get them to market quickly and without some of the red tape that comes along with a new platform launch. PayNearMe aims to take the pressure off payments, freeing up operator resources to focus on market share acquisition.

What are you hoping to achieve in the next 12 months?

Our goal is to help the online betting industry grow by providing the most comprehensive payment platform for today’s operators. We know that MoneyLine can help new operators go to market quicker by taking the payments burden off them, while it also helps established operators attract and retain their players more effectively. We’ve been listening closely to our customers and we’ll be launching significant platform updates and new features, which will provide another layer of benefits to the MoneyLine platform beyond payment processing — things tied to data insights, risk and fraud, built-in AI and more.
