Gaming America speaks to Laura Olson-Reyes, SVP of Marketing at Eclipse Gaming, about new slot games and new market expansion.

Tell us about the products you’re exhibiting this year and how they were developed.

We’re thrilled to exhibit at G2E this year in Booth 3040, where we’ll be showcasing an array of new slot game content for our Impact series of dual-screen and portrait cabinets. Taking center stage will be Duck Dollars, the third title in our successful Arcade Series, following the Big Shake Neon and Big Shake Carnival games. In this exciting feature-forward game, players can see the awards on screen as they chase cannon symbols to fire cannons at targets and rubber ducks to win credits or mystery prizes, including multi-level progressives. Duck Dollars offers perceived skill entertainment, as players try their luck to hit the targets with cannons in this nostalgic carnival adventure. Another G2E highlight for Eclipse Gaming will be Mermaids Multipliers Splash, an enchanting game where shimmering waters and magical sea creatures await. The beautiful mermaid upgrades symbols and awards random treasure with her siren song. This classic three-reel video slot game features multiplier wilds, random credit awards, and random upgrade features for a game that offers big-win anticipation in the mermaid’s breathtaking underwater realm. At our G2E booth, we will also showcase an exciting spin-off of an Eclipse Gaming classic player game – Highway Hogs Pig Out. Like the original Highway Hogs, still popular on casino floors across the US, this game features Hammy Sammy, a motorcycle-riding pig with a penchant for playfulness. In addition to a multi-level progressive, Highway Hogs Pig Out awards random credit prizes and an anticipatory Piggy Sue’s Diner pick feature, where players touch slices of pie to win credit awards. This game promises to rev up players’ engines!

What’s the achievement Eclipse Gaming is most proud of this year?

We have had an incredible year, as we expanded into new markets like New Mexico, and continued to grow our installed base in our existing markets. Our game portfolio has more than doubled, and we’ve seen our games entertaining players all over America. We have been especially pleased to see our games recognized in the Eilers-Fantini Game Performance reports, which demonstrate that they are performing for operators and engaging players. In 2023, we were also very proud to win the ‘2023 Large Supply Chain Pioneer of the Year’ award in the Movers & Makers Manufacturing & Supply Chain Awards – recognition for our customer-service approach, economic impact, and innovative products.

How important is attending in-person shows like G2E to Eclipse Gaming?

Shows like G2E are critically important to our business. They offer us the opportunity to see many of our customers and potential customers in one place, and to meet with our vendors and partners and continue strengthening those relationships. These shows are a big investment, but one that we feel is well worth the time, cost, and preparation.

What kinds of gaps in the market are you hoping to fill with your games?

We are a provider of Class II games to Tribal casinos and select commercial casinos. As Eclipse Gaming continues to grow, we hope to expand our product portfolio to offer Class III games that allow us to serve a broader customer base. In the meantime, we have plenty of white space as we focus on continuing to get licensed in more Tribal jurisdictions and expand our sales and service infrastructure to grow our customer base in both existing and new markets.
