Players can pre-register on the platform before the market opens next month.

BetMGM has opened its pre-registration to Kentucky residents in anticipation for the state’s upcoming sports betting launch late next month. Those who register for a new BetMGM account can receive $100 in Bonus Bets that can be used as soon as the BetMGM Sportsbook goes live.

BetMGM and Revolutionary Race recently partnered to gain access to the Kentucky market. Under the terms of the deal, the duo will deliver its online and retail sports betting platform to state residents once the market launches.

Both companies will also open a BetMGM retail sportsbook comprised of 5,200 square feet of gaming space at Sandy’s Racing & Gaming later this fall.

Once the market goes live, Kentucky players can participate in straight bets, over/unders, parlays and on in-game live betting. Players will have the chance to wager on several state teams, including the Kentucky Wildcats and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, as well as on college and professional programs around the country.

To date, BetMGM has extended its digital footprint to include more than 25 jurisdictions. During the past year, the brand launched in six North American markets, including New York, Louisiana, Illinois, Ontario, Kansas and Maryland.

It has recently opened four retail sportsbook locations as well, including Nationals Park in Washington DC, Casino del Mar in Puerto Rico, The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and at State Farm Stadium, which hosted Super Bowl LVII.

The sports betting and iGaming operator recently launched its mobile sports betting app in Puerto Rico. The release comes through its continued partnership with Casino del Mar at La Concha Resort.

This launch marks BetMGM’s second release to extend beyond the US mainland market. BetMGM is the first operator to release a mobile sports betting app in Puerto Rico. Players throughout the region can now place mobile bets on pre-game, live-play, futures and parlay.
