Choctaw Casinos & Resorts has signed athletes Troy Aikman, Ivan ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez and Darren Woodson to kick off a four-year endorsement deal.
The endorsement deal will be advertised as a “Where the Players Play” campaign. The campaign is an effort to expand its marketing strategy by partnering with three of the most well-known athletes and celebrities in North Texas.
Leading the campaign will be Troy Aikman, a former football quarterback who played in the NFL for 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys; Ivan ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez, a former MLB catcher and member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. As well as Darren Woodson, a former professional football player who spent his entire career as a safety for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
RPM Sports & Entertainment, out of Dallas, Texas, assisted Choctaw Casinos & Resorts in the negotiation of the athlete agreements.
Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN Analyst Aikman commented, “Choctaw Casinos & Resorts has come onto the sports scene in a big way. As a proud Oklahoman, I couldn’t be more excited to join their roster for this trailblazing campaign.”
Dallas Cowboys legend Woodson commented, “From special appearances to hosting football watch parties in Durant, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the time I’ve spent at Choctaw. As the sports and gaming industries continue to intersect, I applaud Choctaw for their continued efforts to align themselves with each of the top sports properties in DFW - one of the most dominant regions for sports business in the country.”
And National Baseball Hall of Fame Catcher Rodriguez said, “I take pride in having represented Choctaw Casinos & Resorts for the past few years and look forward to continuing my association with them in this next chapter.
