New York becomes the 17th state where the app is available, powered by the New York Racing Association's platform NYRA Bets.

Caesars Entertainment (Caesars) has launched its Caesars Racebook app in New York State.

The betting app is dedicated to horseracing and includes content from over 300 global tracks, pari-mutuel wagering and the opportunities to earn with the Caesars Rewards loyalty program.

Caesars Racebook was launched in the spring of 2022 in collaboration with the New York Racing Association’s (NYRA) online wagering platform, NYRA Bets, but launched in 16 other states before galloping into New York.

Tony Allevato, President of NYRA Bets, said, “This is an important expansion of the partnership between NYRA Bets and Caesars Racebook that will contribute to the success of horseracing in New York State now and in the future.”

The app is already available in California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington and Wyoming.

Caesars is also the presenting sponsor of the annual National Horseplayers Championship hosted at the Horseshoe Las Vegas as well as the operator of tracks at Harrah’s Hoosier Park and Horseshoe Indianapolis in Indiana; Harrah’s Philadelphia in Pennsylvania; and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs in Ohio.

In 2024, Caesars plans to bring Harrah’s Columbus Racing & Casino to Nebraska, which will include a sportsbook and a mile-long thoroughbred racetrack. Caesars Sportsbook also partners with Kentucky venues Del Mar, Monmouth Park, Keeneland and Red Mile Racing & Gaming.

Dan Shapiro, SVP and Chief Development Officer at Caesars Digital, commented on the timing of the launch, “Building on the popularity of our Caesars Sportsbook app, we are thrilled to launch Caesars Racebook in New York during the heart of the Saratoga race meet.”
