BtoBet goes live in Canada with PlayAlberta partnership
This partnership will mark BtoBet’s entry into the North American market.
NeoGames’ subsidiary BtoBet has announced its entry into the North American market by partnering with PlayAlberta Sportsbook.
The sports betting provider has officially entered the North American market and will join PlayAlberta to go live on the only regulated online gambling website for the Canadian province of Alberta.
State-run PlayAlberta is also known as Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) and is the only legal online gambling website for the Canadian province of Alberta with a fully managed sportsbook.
Through this agreement BtoBet will assist in the growth and development of PlayAlberta’s online sportsbook; providing its fully managed sportsbook solution and ensuring a smooth online sports betting experience for PlayAlberta’s players.
PlayAlberta plans to complete its online sportsbook migration to BtoBet’s sportsbook technology during Q3 2023.
NeoGames shareholders voted to approve an acquisition by Aristocrat in July, of which 99% of the outstanding shares of the corporation were cast in the vote.
