
US tennis star Andy Roddick has joined Betway, the online betting and gaming brand, as a global tennis ambassador.
In this role, Roddick will become the face of Betway’s tennis activity and will bring fans closer to the action through his insights and knowledge. The former world No. 1 and US Open Champion will bring insight to tournaments, matches and players throughout the tennis calendar.
Roddick will be writing a column about the biggest competitions. It will be hosted on Betway Insider.
Since his retirement after the US Open in 2012, Roddick has appeared as a pundit on Fox Sports Live and the Tennis Channel and on the BBC’s coverage of Wimbledon.
Betway has deals with 11 tennis tournaments around the world, including the Miami Open, the Rio Open and the Hamburg European Open. Betway also has sponsorships with the Premier League, La Liga, Cricket and in the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League.
Roddick joins other Betway ambassadors, including former Premier League player Robbie Keane and England Cricket legend Kevin Pietersen.
