The decision is part of a company commitment to maintaining betting integrity.

Brazil-focused sports betting brand Galera.bet has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). Galera.bet said its motivation to align with the organization is part of its focus on betting integrity in its business development.

The company serves as an official sponsor of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the Brazilian Basketball Confederation and Brazilian 3×3 Basketball Tour.

Company CEO Marcos Sabiá described its collaboration with IBIA as a chance to build a lengthy and productive relationship with the group.

Sabiá commented, “We are honored to work with IBIA and to be able to reinforce our purpose of developing business with integrity as our priority.

“We believe that collaboration between partners is extremely important to protecting the integrity of sport and betting markets from corruption. We hope this is the beginning of a long and successful partnership.”

The IBIA serves as a global integrity network of more than 50 members and is made up of over 125 betting brands. The association offers services that combat corruptions through a collaboration of worldwide operators.

IBIA CEO Khalid Ali took a moment to welcome galera.bet to the team.

He said, “We welcome galera.bet’s decision to join IBIA which further strengthens IBIA’s position ahead of the Brazilian market opening. It recognizes the unique benefits of IBIA’s operator-run integrity monitoring network and its ability to track members’ individual consumer transactional activity, rather than just analyzing simple odds movements.

“No other sports integrity solution provides access to this data which covers over $137bn in annual betting turnover, making IBIA the largest and most effective integrity network of its kind globally.”
