DraftKings has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors, which will now consist of 15 members following the creation of the two new seats.

Jocelyn Moore and Valerie Mosley will serve as the company’s new directors with immediate effect.

Moore currently serves as Venture Partner at New York-based Ozone X Ventures. She is also executive-in-residence at The Gathering Spot in Atlanta. Prior to this, Moore was executive vice president of communications and public affairs for the NFL.

Meanwhile, Mosley is the founder and CEO of wealth-tech platform Upward Wealth. The executive spent the majority of her career at Wellington Management Company.

Commenting on the appointments, Jason Robins, DraftKings co-founder, CEO and chairman of the board, said: “I am very much looking forward to working closely with both Valerie and Jocelyn as we continue to grow DraftKings.”

“They each bring a unique skill set that will complement those of our existing members while simultaneously bringing new perspectives and ideas to the table.”

In a company statement, Moore said she was “absolutely thrilled” with the appointment, while Mosley said she was “excited to help DraftKings continue its already impressive transition into a smart, strategic and well-managed public company.”
