Hard Rock Hotel New York has appointed David Salcfas as its General Manager.
Salcfas joined the Hard Rock Hotel New York after working for Marriott International, where, as an executive committee member, he oversaw 16 hotels and five brands. He worked 23 positions with the company, across sales, catering, events, marketing and operations in the Eastern Region, including postings at the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park and the New York Marriott Marquis.

Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the Hard Rock Hotel New York graces the skyline at 159 West 48th Street. The hotel features 446 guest rooms and specialty suites, including the two-floor Rockstar Suite, complete with a private, 1,600-square-foot terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel also features a memorabilia collection honoring musicians from and inspired by New York City.
The hotel’s event space, The Venue on Music Row, hosts concerts and interviews.
Salcfas, who has a family of six and enjoys island getaways and leisurely bike rides through the park, describes himself as a devoted music fan.

Hard Rock International has venues in more than 70 countries spanning 290 locations including owned/licensed or managed Hotels, Casinos, Rock Shops, Live Performance Venues and Cafes. In 2020, Hard Rock International launched a joint venture called Hard Rock Digital, which is an online sportsbook, retail sportsbook and internet gaming platform.
