She brings more than two decades of experience to her new role.

Jackpocket has named Kelly Gillease as a Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors. Her responsibilities will include working with the executive team and the Board to lead the company in its short and long-term growth, and marketing goals.

Throughout her 20-year career, Gillease has aided several companies in consumer startups and in strategic expansion plans. Prior to joining Jackpocket, she served at notable companies that include StudyBlue, TripAdvisor and Viator.

She has also held a leadership role with NerdWallet, where she helped establish the brand and develop its marketing team. While at NerdWallet, Gillease assisted with the company’s IPO during 2021.

Company Founder and CEO Peter Sullivan said, "We are thrilled to welcome Kelly as a senior advisor and are looking forward to tapping into her extensive marketing experience as Jackpocket continues to expand.

"Kelly is a proven marketing leader, and her counsel will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate in the lottery and gaming space. We have a very exciting year ahead!"

Jackpocket debuted its app in 2013. Since then, players have walked away with more than $200m in lottery prizes.

The company recently launched the lottery app in New Jersey, which joined nine other states that already have the feature. The app is currently available in Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Washington DC.

Gillease commented on her recent appointment by saying, "It's been amazing to watch Jackpocket's rapid growth in the digital lottery space over the last decade.

"Now, I'm excited to help the team push the company forward in its mission to create the best lottery and gaming experiences for consumers across the country."
