Invisible Urban Charging installed 13 chargers at the site, which is set to open in this spring.

A suite of electric vehicle chargers is now operational at the Golden Nugget Casino in Danville, Ill.

The chargers were installed by Invisible Urban Charging, an end-to-end EV solution that deploys high volumes of EV chargers to customer sites for a flat monthly fee.

Under the terms of Invisible Urban Charging’s partnership with the Golden Nugget, the EV company will service the bank of 13 EV chargers at the casino chain’s new location, which is scheduled to open this spring.

These 13 EV chargers represent the single largest number of chargers in the state of Illinois and more than doubles the number of chargers in Danville, a city about two and a half hours south of Chicago.

The 13 EV chargers are also the most at a Golden Nugget location nationwide.

Nigel Broomhall, Co-Founder and CEO of Invisible Urban Charging, said, “IUC is proud to be working with Golden Nugget and improving the EV infrastructure in the Danville area with the installation of one of the largest banks of EV chargers in Illinois.

"The movement to electrification is only ramping up, as more EVs are sold every week. By providing communities with EV charging options, businesses such as Golden Nugget are taking a leadership role in this effort and are well placed to support and take advantage of the shift to electric transport, which we strongly support.”
