Co-Founder of The Unit thanks New Jersey DGE and PlayStar for ‘monumental' step forward.

PlayStar has partnered with Irish software developer, The Unit, for a New Jersey launch. The online casino is fully licensed and regulated by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), and now so is The Unit.

Though PlayStar launched in New Jersey last year, the brand also has plans to launch in Pennsylvania and other states in the near future. It offers live games of roulette, baccarat, blackjack and slots. The Unit will be PlayStar’s frontend, native mobile development partner for the operator.

PlayStar COO Dan Alexander said of the new deal, “The Unit are a great team and have built a reputation for delivering a reliable service of the highest quality.

"I can thoroughly recommend them for gaming web and app development, and we look forward to working with them as we continue to grow.”

The Unit specializes in building sports betting, online casino, free-to-play and gamification platforms and solutions. During its five-year history, The Unit has worked with industry brands such as Low6, SportCaller, 10Star and BetRegal.

Paddy Casey, Co-Founder of The Unit, said, “PlayStar is one of the most exciting, up-and-coming iGaming operators in New Jersey, and we are delighted to be part of their journey.

“This is a monumental step forward for The Unit and we are hugely excited about the opportunities for growth available to us in the state of New Jersey.

"I would like to thank the DGE for their cooperation and for allowing us to provide our specialized services to PlayStar, which marks the start of a fascinating project.”
