Players in the province can access Hacksaw online titles via the BetMGM platform.

Hacksaw Gaming and BetMGM have signed a content agreement that will expand Hacksaw’s digital footprint within the Canadian province of Ontario. The province opened its online betting commercial market last year.

As part of the partnership, Hacksaw Gaming will make its slot titles available to players throughout the province through BetMGM’s Ontario-facing digital casino platform.

Hacksaw said it anticipates launching new titles in Ontario “over the coming months.”

Company CCO Gabrielle Star commented: “We’re super excited to strike up a relationship with a true industry mainstay. BetMGM is a household name boasting a rich heritage in both land-based and digital iGaming arenas, and this partnership will help us reach new audiences through our award-winning content that has already proved a hit with casino fans in Ontario.

“We continue to aim high with plans to expand into even more regulated territories as part of our overarching global strategy this year and beyond.”

To date, BetMGM has expanded its reach to include 25 jurisdictions, according to the update. During the fiscal year, the brand launched in six North American markets, including New York, Louisiana, Illinois, Ontario, Kansas and Maryland.

It recently opened four retail sportsbook locations during the year as well, including Nationals Park in Washington DC, Casino del Mar in Puerto Rico, The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and at State Farm Stadium, which hosted Super Bowl LVII.

Hacksaw Gaming was founded in 2018 and is an online games supplier. Since its founding, the company is active in more than 20 regulated markets around the world, including the Gambling Commission, Malta Gaming Authority, Italy, Germany, Ontario, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Romania and West Virginia.
