After a process called RG Check, BetMGM has been recognized for its commitment to player safety.

After an evaluation process, BetMGM has been accredited by the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) for the company’s responsible gaming and player protection protocols. BetMGM’s North American operations and gaming platforms are said to have proved commitment to responsible gaming, player health and safeguarding.

The accreditation process involves an evaluation called RG Check, which reviews a company’s policies, procedures and training platforms for best practice compliance. RG Check validates organizations with strong responsible gaming policies. BetMGM’s US, Ontario and Borgata online operations were reviewed.

Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, said, “This accreditation is a testament to our ongoing efforts to promote responsibility throughout our business and to ensure the wellbeing of our customers. We will continue to work closely with the RGC and other industry partners to promote a culture of safe and enjoyable gambling.”

BetMGM’s evaluation process was conducted by RGC's team of experts who assessed the organization’s responsible gaming program and provided recommendations for future efficacy based on accepted industry standards.

Shelley White, CEO of RGC, said, "Congratulations to BetMGM on achieving the RG Check accreditation. This accomplishment is a clear demonstration that BetMGM has a strong commitment to responsible gambling and player safety. We commend BetMGM for its dedication to promoting responsible gambling practices and its efforts to ensure the wellbeing of their players."

BetMGM aims to keep responsible gaming a priority as the company expands. GameSense, developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, is now integrated within BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms, and remains available at MGM Resorts properties nationwide. BetMGM’s existing responsible gaming tools will also continue to enable players to have “an entertaining and safe digital experience.”
