With over 20 years of lottery experience, Adesso has become a member of NASPL in the US and Canada.

Adesso, headquartered in Germany with locations throughout Europe, has recently become a member of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL). The consulting and software development firm can now roll out its portfolio to both the US and Canadian markets.

The IT and lottery service provider has mainly operated in Europe, but plans to aim its offerings at all North American lotteries. Adesso has appointed Bishop Woosley of Woosley Gaming Advisors (WGA) for its distribution business in both the USA and Canada.

Woosley is a consultant who previously served as president of NASPL and has led the Lottery of Arkansas prior to consulting. He was inducted into 2020’s “Lottery Hall of Fame.”

Woosley said, "Adesso has in-depth industry expertise with real unique selling points on the market. The company is not only a technology leader in the iLottery industry, but also offers lottery companies consulting and organizational development along the entire value chain.”

Adesso’s focus will be on two developments: LotteryForce, a cloud-based iLottery platform for all channels, and AdessoDraws, an electronic blockchain-based draw system. As of 2022, Adesso has also been certified by the Security Control Standard 2020 of the World Lottery Association (WLA) (WLA-SCS:2020).

SVP Lottery, Dr. Rüdiger Striemer said of entering the North American market, "Adesso is ideally equipped to meet the challenges of digitalization in the global lottery market. We are looking forward to the US and Canadian markets and are convinced that our future-proof solutions will enrich the lottery companies here."

Adesso is also a European Lotteries (EL) and World Lottery Association (WLA) member. The WLA is a lobby of around 140 state-owned lottery companies, which organizes the World Lottery Summit.

In October 2022 Adesso presented both LotteryForce and AdessoDraws to an international audience in Vancouver, Canada.
