Sky Racing World now distributes Italian racing in a simulcast across North America. Coverage included live harness races in Milan. Sky Racing World now also facilitates pari-mutuel wagering B-pools via Premier Gateway International (PGI).
Epiqa (part of the Snaitech Group) and Sky Racing World have entered a multi-faceted agreement to globally distribute Italian horseracing. The programming includes thoroughbred as well as harness racing from 11 Italian racetracks. Ippodromo Snai San Siro in Milan is part of this offering and owned by Snaitech Group.
Milan’s thoroughbred season runs from April to July with typically two cards per week. The Italian thoroughbred racing industry boasts horses like Falbrav, which won the Gran Premio di Milano in Italy, as well as Group 1 races in Japan, France, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Modern racing expert and jockey, Frankie Dettori, was born in Milan and is currently racing in the Dubai World Cup with four wins under his belt.
The racetracks ready for North American simulcast are: Florence (harness and thoroughbreds); Follonica (harness and thoroughbreds); Livorno (thoroughbreds); Milan (harness and thoroughbreds); Montecatini (harness); Sassari (thoroughbreds); Albenga (harness); Chilivani (thoroughbreds); Padova (harness); Taranto (harness) and Foggia (harness).
All races will be livestreamed each morning for North American horseracing fans on the new Sky Racing World App and major betting platforms. Sky Racing World has also partnered with Racing and Sports, an online forum for horseracing news and guides, to develop and deliver race data, tipping guides and runner comments. Fans can also get free access to past performances on the Sky Racing World website. US bettors will be able to access the pari-mutuel wagering pools via any of Sky Racing World’s Advance-Deposit Wagering (ADW) partners.
