The men's March Madness tournament kicks off today at 12:15 ET and DraftKings has fed back the market's thoughts.

March Madness, one of the biggest and most-anticipated tournaments in college sports, begins today. The 2023 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Division I college basketball tournaments are here, and new champions will be crowned after a few weeks of nonstop games.

As with every other year, the top teams in the country are represented, but there’s still always a chance for an underdog story or a few surprises up and down the court along the way.

DraftKings Sportsbook has shared its latest calculated odds to prepare for “the madness.”

Currently, the men’s tournament splits rank University of Houston as 23% of handle and 9% of all bets placed, followed by UCLA at 9% handle and 6% of bets, with last year’s champions University of Kansas coming in at a close third at 8% handle and 9% of bets.

Kansas is also sitting on top of the West Region winner predictions, with 30% of bets, while Houston tops the Midwest Region at 35%. The East has Duke University as its predicted winner, with 31% of bets, but the South has Alabama coming in at the highest betting percentage of 59%.

The women’s tournament fans have placed a lot of faith, and 66% of bets, on South Carolina coming out victorious again in 2023, with 44% of handle.

However, though West Virginia doesn’t reach the top 10 in either overall betting percentage or handle, it received 18% of bets to be the NCAAW Region 1 Winner, and 52% of handle. In comparison, reigning champions and fan pick South Carolina was ranked 5th in Region 1, and received 25% of the bets, but only 3% of handle.

DraftKings Sportsbook’s available bets include Singles, Parlays, Teasers, Round Robins and more.
