The former SNL star will perform two shows in April.

Comedian Darrell Hammond will take the stage at Jamul Casino’s The Rooftop on April 1, 2023. Hammond will perform during the dinner and comedy show at both 5:30PM and 8:00PM.

For nearly three decades, Hammond has brought a unique brand of humor to a vast audience. Hammond is most widely known for his work on Saturday Night Live and spent 14 seasons on the nighttime sketch comedy show. He still holds the record as the second-longest run as a member of the show’s cast.

While on SNL, Hammond impersonated several US politicians, including former President Bill Clinton. After his time with SNL, he appeared in several movies, including Weiners, Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 6, Agent Cody Banks, and The Devil and Daniel Webster.

Jamul Casino President and General Manager Mary Cheeks said that bringing Hammond to the venue is a bright spot in next month’s entertainment lineup for the casino.

Cheeks commented: "At Jamul Casino, we're serious about having fun – it's one of our core values.  We strive to make every day at Jamul Casino a fun and exciting experience.

“It makes perfect sense to welcome Darrell Hammond as a highlight of our April programming – he's a master at bringing laughter, enjoyment and fun to his audiences."

Jamul Casino first opened in 2016 and is operated by Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation (JIVDC) in San Diego County, California.

The casino is currently home to more than 1,700 slot machines, 46 live table games, several restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as a poker room.
