Online sports betting and iGaming apps, BetMGM, WynnBet and FanDuel Sportsbook, all launched in Massachusetts on the Bay State’s opening day of legal sports betting, 10 March.
BetMGM’s mobile app gives access to a variety of online betting options and benefits tied to MGM Resorts' destinations nationwide, including MGM Springfield. It also complements MGM Springfield's BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge that opened in January 2023. Earlier this week, BetMGM was also named an Official Sports Betting Partner of the Boston Red Sox.
WynnBet players in Massachusetts will now gain immediate access to Wynn Rewards, providing them with a variety of real-life experiences and benefits that can be used at Encore Boston Harbor and Wynn Las Vegas.
Massachusetts players that sign up with WynnBet will be eligible for the new user credit offer: Bet $100, Get $100.
FanDuel Sportsbook app has also launched, in conjunction with an announcement of a new multi-year official sports betting partnership between FanDuel and the Boston Bruins. Customers who sign up, make a deposit of at least $10 and place a bet of at least $5 will automatically receive $200 in sportsbook bonus bets.
Each company cited the enthusiasm of Massachusetts sports fans, and the March timing of the state’s sports betting opening days, as positive factors surrounding their respective launches.
