NCAA Basketball squares aim to engage and reward college hoops fans.

It’s time for March Madness and NCAA fans to start filling in their brackets and placing their bets on which schools will make it to the Final Four.

Rush Street Interactive (RSI), which operates the BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse sportsbooks, is celebrating the spring tournament and has announced a new version of its Squares game for bettors.

NCAA Basketball Squares will work similarly to previous NFL and NBA versions of the game.

The board contains 100 squares. Each square contains two single-digit numbers.

If a square shows a 3 on the bottom left and a 9 on the top right, it becomes a winning square if the visiting team ends a game with a points total ending in 3, while the home team closes with a points total ending in 9.

Richard Schwartz, CEO at RSI, said, "March Madness is one of the biggest sporting events of the year.”

The college edition of Basketball Squares is designed to make watching the fast-paced NCAA games more engaging by offering bettors several ways to win.

A winning standard square earns $20 in bonus money for that bettor, while the potential payout for winning "boosted" squares is worth designated amounts ranging from $25 to $10,000. The exact bonus amounts are disclosed after the boosted square has won.

Bettors will also be rewarded with a free, randomly selected standard square for making wagers of $20 or more on any RSI platform game with a Squares icon. Total wagers of $50 or higher result in a second standard square, while wagers of $100 or higher earn a third additional square.

Schwartz added, “Even casual basketball fans get into the spirit of these games and BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse NCAA Basketball Squares will make watching the college hoops action even more exhilarating for bettors this season."
