Bakkt to the future: Crypto rewards scheme signs deal with Caesars Entertainment

The technology platform enables partners to unlock crypto rewards, and will now launch at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Bakkt Holdings has struck a deal with Caesars Entertainment to give Caesars Rewards members the opportunity to redeem their rewards credits through Bakkt Crypto Rewards. To launch this partnership, Zappos Theater, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will now be named Bakkt Theater.

Bakkt’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Mark Elliot, said, “As today’s customers grow to be increasingly savvier online, we look forward to offering new crypto options to millions of Caesars’ customers. We’re thrilled to solidify our relationship with Caesars with the naming of Bakkt Theater and the integration of Bakkt Crypto Rewards into the Caesars Rewards program.”

Jason Gastwirth, President of Entertainment for Caesars Entertainment, added, “We’re pleased that Bakkt recognizes the unique destination we’ve created at Planet Hollywood, and we are excited to have them join us in the venue’s next chapter.”

Additional details on the rewards system, and the timeline for its rollout, will be shared soon.

Caesars Rewards currently has more than 60 million members worldwide and has previously won Customer Loyalty Program of the Year at the 2021 Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas

The Caesars Rewards network offers perks tied to gaming, hospitality, entertainment, nightlife, dining and shopping in more than 50 destinations. The program also provides a suite of mobile products including Caesars Sportsbook and iGaming. Members can earn and redeem credits across the network.
