Having launched retail sports betting on January 31, Massachusetts will debut online sports wagering on March 10 and Caesars Entertainment is getting in on the action. It will be launching its Sportsbook app today and Massachusetts sports fans can now download the app, register, make deposits and take advantage of a special early sign-up offer.
Caesars Digital President Eric Hession commented: “The launch of our mobile app is an excellent complement to the planned Caesars Sportsbook at historic Raynham Park. We’re confident this combination will deliver the most rewarding sports wagering experience in the Commonwealth, allowing us to treat all sports fans like royalty.”
Caesars Sportsbook will be the first mobile sports betting app to go live in the state. The app allows customers to place a variety of bets on their favorite sports teams, including the Boston Celtics and the Boston Red Sox. The app also provides access to exclusive bettor rewards, live in-game betting and various other sports betting opportunities.
To celebrate the launch, Caesars has introduced a ‘welcome bonus’ for new customers in Massachusetts, offering $100 in bonus bets for early takers. The company also plans to offer a range of promotions throughout the year and will match the first deposit of any new customers.
The app is available for Android and iOS devices, and it is expected to add more features and markets soon. This includes the addition of daily fantasy sports and in-play betting.
Pending approval by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, Caesars Sportsbook at Raynham Park will be one of the largest freestanding race and pari-mutuel simulcasting venues in the US. The 30,000-square-foot venue is located just south of Boston and will open as a temporary sportsbook this spring before the permanent sportsbook launches later this year.
