Aruze Gaming America has received approval from the Bureau of Gaming Operations for its iGaming solutions in Pennsylvania. This makes The Keystone State the second US jurisdiction to approve Aruze’s iGaming operations, with Pennsylvania being one of only six states that has legalized iGaming.
The gambling entertainment developer will continue to roll out new titles in 2023 and beyond. Aruze is working with its platform and distribution partners to make these titles available to Pennsylvanian fans immediately.
Aruze VP of iGaming Kurt Hansen commented: “This approval is the next step in our overall business plan to bring the fun of the casino experience to anyone, any time.
“Not everyone who loves gambling has the luxury of a casino being down the street from them, and that’s where we come in.
"While players will still travel to search out the lights and sounds of the casino floor, Pennsylvanians will now also have the option of playing right at home.”
This new development comes hot on the heels of Aruze gaining approval to operate in Malta, which has expanded the Nevada-based company's international presence. The company is also targeting a soft February launch of its iGaming solutions platform in the UK.
Aruze has long offered a variety of casino gaming solutions worldwide, including an array of video slots, ETGs and arcade-casino hybrid Activ-Play slots. Aruze Gaming America and Play Synergy signed a partnership last October, allowing the company to spread its Activ-Play Slots.
Aruze has made it clear it will be targeting iGaming growth alongside brick-and-mortar growth in 2023. This would include further expansion to new jurisdictions in Europe, Canada, Latin America and the US.
