The sports betting platform’s Bet Builder wager option proved to be particularly popular, according to the supplier.

Kambi, the sports betting platform, has announced a successful Super Bowl LVII, with last night’s game producing the second-largest turnover in its history. The big game also delivered entertainment-wise, with the Kansas City Chiefs dramatically edging out the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.

Kambi earned 25% of its pre-game turnover from its best odds Bet Builder bets, with players able to cash out a large majority of pre-game Bet Builder bets live for the first time with the company, using new in-game functionality. Kambi plans to expand this bet type into other sports in the coming months.

Nearly half of all customers wagering with Bet Builder received Kambi’s best odds, with this bet type making up one-third of all pre-game bets generated. In addition to this popular wagering option, Kambi customers were given access to a variety of markets with around 850 betting variations available on its platform.

The company implemented a live delay of just one second for betting, which made for an exciting in-game betting experience; it reported that 97% of all in-game submitted bets were accepted.

Kambi SVP of Trading Simon Noy commented: “Super Bowl LVII will be one sports fans remember for a long time to come. Not only did we see a fantastic game between two great teams but complementing that was an exciting betting experience offered through our many partners across the US and around the world.

“We saw fantastic engagement throughout the product, however, it was our best odds Bet Builder that took center stage as large numbers of bettors combined bet offers to create their own Super Bowl stories, while our operational excellence delivered the type of friction-free live experience you would be hard pushed to find anywhere else.”
