The Lamp has surpassed all previous state high-performing games.

NeoGames has released its results along with the Virginia Lottery, following the recent launch of The Lamp, a company eInstant game. The technology and services provider said in its report that The Lamp currently holds the all-time high in profitability with state lottery.

The Lamp has been available to Virginia lottery players for the past 30 days. During that time, total purchases have soared beyond the $40m mark and has outperformed the state’s second-place ranking game by more than 200%, according to the company report.

The Lamp offers Virginia players access to a progressive jackpot feature, which to date has paid out more than $500,000 in winnings.

Company CEO Moti Malul said: "NeoGames is thrilled at the resounding success of The Lamp with the Virginia Lottery.

“We believe that the new game, with its popular theme and many ways to win, is on course to increase revenues to good causes in Virginia; with its broad appeal to existing and new players.”

In addition to its Virginia operation, NeoGames has signed 12 deals through Pariplay to provide games and content aggregation. Among those partnership were agreements with BetMGM to launch in Michigan and New Jersey, as well as a deal with DraftKings.

Virginia Lottery Executive Director Kelly Gee spoke about player response since the launch.

Gee commented: "We launched our first progressive jackpot game two years ago and these have really resonated with our players

“The Lamp’s success has been particularly impressive and quickly became our best-performing eInstant.”

The Lamp has also been released in North America with two other customers under the names of Desert Fantasy and Magic Money Ride.
