He will be responsible for overseeing future expansion efforts throughout the region.

Affiliate XLMedia has appointed Kevin Duffey to serve as its President of XLMedia North America, as well as to the Executive Team. Duffey will assume his new role effective February 1.

Part of his responsibilities will include leading the charge toward achieving the company’s long-term North American expansion plan. He will also focus on revenue strategy, along with overseeing new projects across the company’s various brands.

In other personnel changes, Chief Growth Officer Ken Dorward will step down from his position immediately. During his time with XLMedia, he has aided the company in significantly extending its North American footprint and assisted in three major merger acquisitions.

Dorward said about his tenure with the company: “I am very proud of the contribution I have made to the business and proud of the work the talented teams have done. My time with the business has been rewarding as it has grown and expanded.

“I look forward to seeing the Group continue to succeed under Kevin’s stewardship with his demonstrated capabilities in building and monetizing Sports audiences.”

Duffy took a moment to wish Dorward well and said he looks forward to taking his place among the executive team.

He commented: “I am delighted to join the Executive Team and continue to work with the highly talented teams in North America and across the business.

“And, on behalf of the business, I would like to thank Ken for his valuable contribution in setting up and leading the North American business. We wish him well for the future.”
