The operator is the Bengal's official sponsor and will still offer the best odds for them to win.

Betfred has announced that it will be issuing an early payout for all wagers placed on the Cincinnati Bengals to win the AFC championship. The Bengals thrashed the Buffalo Bills 27-10 in a performance that convinced Betfred Chairman and Founder Fred Done to make this decision.

All US bettors holding online or retail wagers on the Bengals to win the championship – as of 10AM PT on January 25, 2023 – were paid out as winners, regardless of the outcomes of the remaining games.

Betfred is the official sports betting partner of the Cincinnati Bengals. Betfred COO Bryan Bennett commented: “As a partner of the Bengals, we've had a special relationship with Bengals fans all season.

"After the team's huge win on the road in Buffalo last week, we had seen enough to believe they're the best team in the league. As a result, we made the decision to pay existing championship bets early as a goodwill gesture to fans and customers."

Addressing the bettors who missed out on this early payout, Betfred is still giving the best odds on the Bengals to win the AFC, at +300. That price will be made available on the operator’s platform, prior to the big game kicking off in Kansas City on January 29.

Ohio has seen a flood of sports operators enter its market following the launch of sports betting in the state at the start of the New Year. Amelco was the latest to join in on the action, with 17 online sportsbooks now active – among them BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetRivers, Caesars and, of course, Betfred.
