The IBIA is comprised of gaming organizations, accounting for half of all US betting activity.

Simplebet, a micro-betting provider, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). The US-based company provides B2B services across the burgeoning US market covering NBA, NFL, MLB, college football and basketball events.

This reinforces the IBIA’s recent drive to bring gaming operators and suppliers into its folds, as Simplebet joins 45 companies and 125 sports betting brands under the body's umbrella. These entities account for over $137bn in global betting handle per annum and nearly half of all regulated US commercial betting activity.

The company’s entrance strengthens the IBIA’s position as a foremost global sports betting integrity monitoring body.

Simplebet EVP of Business Affairs/ General Counsel Melissa Davis commented: “Integrity and trust are non-negotiable at Simplebet, so we are excited to be partnering with the IBIA, which is the world’s leading independent integrity monitor.

“Pooling our resources will help maintain fair play in sport, negate corruption in sports betting, and ensure our partners and their customers can enjoy peace of mind when it comes to wagering."

IBIA CEO Khalid Ali reflected Davis’ enthusiasm. He said: “I am very pleased to welcome Simplebet to IBIA; its membership highlights the operator’s commitment to protecting the integrity of betting and related sporting events.

“Simplebet brings a distinctive approach and product range that marries well with our existing members and continues IBIA’s expansion across the growing US-regulated sports betting market. The association looks forward to working closely with Simplebet to ensure the integrity of its products and services.”

Simplebet follows in the footsteps of Jack Entertainment, which joined the IBIA following the launch of its BetJack sports betting brand in Ohio.
