It will host CW 149 on March 3 and continue to emcee the competition throughout the year.

Cage Warriors (CW), a European MMA organization, has partnered with Sycuan Casino Resort, which is set to become the exclusive US home for the Cage Warriors in 2023. It has also revealed its first batch of warriors for its 2023 world tour.

Following the CW 149 event on March 3, the special promotion will return to the Sycuan on June 2, September 8 and December 15.

Headlining the list of fighters preparing to don their yellow gloves on March 3 is former UFC flyweight title challenger Wilson Reis (26-12). Reis is currently on a two-fight winning streak with CW, most recently slugging out a hard-fought points victory over Tuomas Gronvall at CW 148 on New Year's Eve.

His opponent will be former NCAA Division 1 wrestler Chasen 'Paper' Blair (3-1), who won dramatically, also on NYE, defeating his opponent by technical knock-out within 12 seconds of Round 1.

CW President Graham Boylan commented: “This year, we'll be joining forces with Sycuan Casino Resort, making them the official US home of Cage Warriors in 2023. It's a partnership that will give fight-fans an unrivaled fight-week experience."

Sycuan Casino Resort General Manager Rob Cinelli commented: “We are thrilled to be the exclusive US partner of Cage Warriors in 2023. San Diego is a hotspot for mixed martial arts, as there is a large fighting community, world-class gyms and many combat sports enthusiasts who call San Diego home.

"We are excited to bring four action-packed events to Sycuan, so dedicated fans and those newly introduced to combat sports can come and experience this massively entertaining sport first-hand."

The Sycuan Casino Resort has shown its eagerness to find sporting partners recently, teaming up with the San Diego Loyal Soccer Club last June.
