The tournament is open only to Momentum members and runs February 19-20.

Mohegan Sun is inviting its Momentum members to two days of slot tournaments, beginning on February 16; these tournaments will offer a top prize of $5,000 in cash each day. Momentum is the operator’s reward program which guests can sign up for at any Player’s Club booth at the venue.

The slot series will award cash prizes to the runner-up and third-place finishers. Additionally, the top two scorers during each session will receive $100 in free slot play. Registration for the tournaments will take place each day from 1PM – 5PM at the ‘Casino of the Earth’, a special gaming space within Mohegan Sun.

The $20,000 Hot Shot Slot Tournament will allow participants to play in a 5-minute session during both tournament days. The series will be hosted in the Bravo Slot Zone in Casino of the Earth, where guests will be trying to achieve the highest score possible.

Tournaments will run in 15-minute intervals starting at 1:30PM on February 19 – 20; once each day has finished the Momentum member with the most points scored will win $5,000 in cash.

To qualify for this event, Momentum members will have to earn at least 20 Status Points between 6:00AM and 4:00PM by the starting day of the tournament. They will also get the opportunity to earn Triple Point status over the course of the weekend, making it easier for them to participate in as many tournaments as possible.

The Momentum reward program also offers the casino’s guests ‘Momentum Dollars’ to spend in-house at the Mohegan Sun, on things like fine dining, spa treatments, partner benefits and more.
