This is the eighth state to implement the PlayNow platform.

Scientific Games, along with the Oklahoma Lottery, celebrated the success of PlayNow Games and the launch of four new games under the FastPlay banner. Since the launch, the FastPlay titles have yielded more than $2m in retail sales for the state.

Oklahoma added an additional five games to the line-up at the end of 2022, which included the first instant-win progress jackpot feature.

Oklahoma Lottery Executive Director Jay Finks commented: “Our new FastPlay games offer Oklahoma players the fun of progressive jackpots combined with the thrill of the opportunity to win instantly.

“FastPlay is a great, innovative addition to our product portfolio that complements the entertainment experience offered by our Scratchers and draw games.”

FastPlay games fall under Scientific Games’ PlayNow brand and are available in eight US states, including Arizona, Connecticut, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Vermont.

The games are comprised of terminal-generated tickets that offer rolling or progressive jackpot play and can be printed on demand.

Scientific Games President, Americas and Global Instant Products John Schulz said: “FastPlay games, which we have branded as our PlayNow Games, are a relatively new and exciting lottery experience for the consumer.

“These unique games were planned as a strategic addition to the Oklahoma Lottery’s portfolio to help drive sales across the portfolio and create incremental revenues to benefit schools, students and teachers in the state.”

Scientific Games produces and manages lottery instant games around the globe. The company specializes in player loyalty programs, lottery and sports betting systems, digital lottery games and mobile apps.

In addition to its most recent launch, Scientific Games has achieved lottery expansion in Canada through its longstanding relationship with the Atlantic Lottery. The company has collaborated with the South Dakota Lottery on scratch games for the past 30 years as well.
