NeoGames has been given the green light to operate in the Canadian province of Ontario through regulatory approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The approval gives the sports betting supplier entry into the market and a foothold in the North American region, and accompanies the organisation's recent North American growth.
The operator has made significant recent strides to expand throughout North America, via its newly acquired GLI-33 Events Wagering System certification for the BtoBet sportsbook platform.
NeoGames President Tsachi Maimon spoke briefly about the company’s recent “milestone” achievement.
He said: “Obtaining the registration approval from the AGCO is an important milestone for the company as we seek to expand our presence in the North American region.
“This approval underscores BtoBet’s exemplary track record in compliance, and we are excited to be in a position to deliver our market-leading sportsbook technology to customers in Ontario.”
Upon entry into the Ontario market, BtoBet will provide its sportsbook technology services to operators that want to launch within the market.
BtoBet said it is committed to maintaining player safety as players engage with its online sports betting platform. The supplier has grown significantly throughout the United States as well.
NeoGames and Pariplay subsidiary recently collaborated with Caesars Entertainment to launch its first series of live content in New Jersey. The duo released the batch of titles through Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.
This latest launch builds on an ongoing partnership between the two companies, one NeoGames President Maimon said he hopes will continue.
