Kambi will continue to aid RSI with sportsbook technology as it expands in the Americas.

Kambi Group and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) have signed an extension to their sports betting technology partnership, having initially partnered in 2018 following the repeal of PASPA.

Kambi has been an important strategic ally to RSI, supporting its entry into a number of online sports betting states – 15 in total, including New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois. The assistance extends to RSI’s expansion throughout the Americas following launches in Canada, Colombia, and Mexico.

RSI opened two new offices in Colombia at the end of last year, operating from its RushBet brand. These offices are located in Bogota and Medellin, with the 8,000-square-foot Bogota office serving as the headquarters for the company’s LatAm operations team.

Under the terms of this new deal, Kambi’s sportsbook engine, which is already integrated into RSI’s online gaming platform, will continue to aid the latter company’s expansion in the Americas.

Kambi CEO and Co-Founder Kristian Nylén commented: “RSI was the first US-based operator we partnered with post-PASPA, and it has been fantastic to witness RSI become one of the leading online gaming players in the Americas.

“This contract extension ensures Kambi’s sportsbook will continue to complement RSI’s proprietary technology and platform, which together will provide the basis for even greater success in the future.“

Kambi is a provider of sports betting services to licensed B2C gaming operators. Its services encompass several offerings, from the front-end user interface to odds compiling, customer intelligence and risk management. Kambi’s 40-plus customers include ATG, Corredor Empresarial, Kindred Group, LeoVegas, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment and RSI.
