SBC Digital Summit North America gets underway on Tuesday July 14, when all the major international and U.S. betting & gaming operators will be joined by leading suppliers, affiliates, regulators, and sports organizations for three days of high-level content, networking and product showcases.

The virtual conference and exhibition features a stellar 100-strong speaker roster, giving delegates the opportunity to learn from the experience and ideas of some of the industry’s highest-profile executives. The line-up includes Jay Snowden (CEO, Penn National Gaming), Ezra Kucharz (Chief Business Officer, DraftKings), Zach Leonsis (SVP of Strategic Initiatives, Monumental Sports & Entertainment), Erika Nardini (CEO, Barstool Sports), John Levy (CEO, theScore), Virginia McDowell (Board Member, GVC Holdings), Bryan Bennett (COO, Betfred USA), Ellen Whittemore (Executive Vice President, Wynn Resorts), Tim Clark (Chief Digital Officer, NASCAR), and Stacie Stern (Government Affairs Director, FanDuel).

The extensive conference features an agenda that reflects the current uncertain market situation, with in-depth content about the online sector, state-by-state regulation, the relationship between professional sports and betting operators, innovation and technology, and the condition of the land-based industry, including lotteries, brick-and-mortar casinos, and tribal gaming interests.

It comes at a crucial time for the North American gambling industry, with many businesses focused on how to safely and successfully reopen after the shutdown, while also having to make contingency plans for further periods of enforced closure. Others are firmly focused on the potentially lucrative opportunities that may arise from the ongoing legalization of sports betting and growth of online gaming.

One thing that all stakeholders can be certain of is that the large physical trade shows that serve as crucial forums for doing business and discussing the future of the industry will be postponed for at least the next few months. That serves to make SBC Digital Summit North America a must-attend event, as it will be one of very few opportunities to meet all the key players in the industry during the second half of 2020.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said: “Physical events continue to be disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the need for the industry to carry on communicating and doing business is stronger than ever. SBC Digital Summit North America will provide a valuable alternative platform for operators and the supply chain to connect, share ideas that will shape the industry’s short-term recovery and long-term future, and talk business.

“If you haven’t yet booked your pass for the Summit, there’s still time for you to join the rest of the North American industry at this innovative new style of event. Registrations are still open at the event website and, as all conference sessions will be available both live and as on-demand reruns, you can join us at any time during the three days and still benefit from all the content.”

The audience for the event includes a huge contingent of senior decision makers from major operators, with Bet365, Betfred USA, Betsson Group, Caesars Entertainment, Churchill Downs, Circa Sports, Delaware North, DraftKings, FanDuel, Flutter Entertainment, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Gateway Casinos & Entertainment, GVC Holdings, Hard Rock, Kindred Group, LeoVegas, MGM Resorts International, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, Parimatch, Pechanga Resort Casino, Penn National Gaming, PointsBet, Princess International Casinos, Roar Digital, Rush Street, San Manuel Casino, theScore, William Hill US, and Wynn Resorts among those represented.

Other high-profile delegates include representatives of 18 state lotteries, franchises from the big four North American sports leagues, major affiliates, state regulators, and leading media companies. The industry’s most innovative suppliers will also be in attendance, including senior staff from 1xBET, Aristocrat, Bet.Works, BetConstruct, Betgenius, FDJ Gaming Solutions, Gambling Therapy, Gamesys, GAN, IGT, Intralot, Kambi, Miomni, NetEnt, Newgioco, Playtech, Neosurf, Red Tiger, RTSmunity, Scientific Games, SportCaller, Sporting Solutions, Sportsbooth, Sportradar, Stats Perform, Superlotto Games, Triggy, United Tote Gaming Services, USAbility Digital, and Xtremepush.

SBC Digital Summit North America will use an advanced technological platform to recreate many of the key features of a physical trade show, providing attendees with an opportunity to learn, make new connections, and view the latest products from the comfort of their own home or office.

Running alongside the conference content is a program of themed networking sessions that will make it simple for delegates to connect with fellow attendees with shared business interests. The planned sessions, each of which have a number of high-profile featured guests, include open discussions about Canadian gaming, innovation in fantasy sports, Nevada sportsbooks,  tribal gaming, sports sponsorship, Nevada sportsbooks, and women in gaming.

Attendees will also have further opportunities to connect at workshops, in the virtual networking bar, using the event platform’s one-to-one chat facility, and in the interactive exhibition. The 20-booth expo hall features major international suppliers showcasing their latest innovations, as well as some of the leading gaming industry media.

Delegates who have already booked tickets, but have not yet completed their registration should do so as early as possible to avoid having to wait when the Summit opens at 10:00am ET / 07:00 PT on July 14, 30 minutes before the conference commences with Penn National Gaming’s CEO Jay Snowden being interviewed by Roger Gros of GGB Magazine.
