Players in both states can access faster withdrawals and same-day payouts.

PokerStars has disclosed details from its strategic plan to combine player tools in the states of Michigan and New Jersey on January 1, 2023. To celebrate the launch, PokerStars will host two tournaments with a guaranteed combined prize pool of $150,000.

Players in both Michigan and New Jersey can get in on the action with a $100 buy-in for the first tournament and a $10 buy-in for the second.

Through the shared platform, users will also have quick access to same-day payouts, as well as to fast withdrawals through a streamlined lobby.

Poker players across both states will have access to larger prize options from PokerStars – with more tournaments and a bigger pool of user engagement through the shared option.

PokerStars US Managing Director Severin Rasset commented: "Michigan and New Jersey joining forces is great news for our players in these two states, and poker, more generally, as it promises a better experience and even more value, all with the confidence provided by a trusted, licensed operator.

"Our community will experience more breadth and depth of games, more tournaments with bigger prizes to win, amped-up promotions and more choice.”

Rasset went on to add that the company has been working in tandem with regulators in both states.

He concluded by saying: “To kick start, we are offering generous guarantees on our debut multi-state tournaments, that will no doubt provide lots of value for those who take to the tables.

“We worked closely with the regulators of New Jersey and Michigan, and we hope that more will follow this great example."
