The duo will work to launch the first real-money online sportsbook in the region.

Kambi Group and Rei do Pitaco (RDP) have signed a deal that will introduce the Brazilian gaming market to a real-money online sportsbook. The multi-year agreement will allow RDP to utilize Kambi’s services and technology for the upcoming sportsbook launch.

Kambi CEO and Co-founder Kristian Nylén spoke about the Brazilian market and the company’s plans to continue expanding throughout the region.

He commented: "Brazil has the potential to come one of the world’s largest regulated sports betting markets so I am delighted Kambi has partnered with Rei do Pitaco, a company which I believe is uniquely positioned to gain a strong position in the country.

“The talented people behind Rei do Pitaco have exciting and ambitious plans, so this agreement is a testament to the strength and flexibility of our sportsbook technology to be able to support those aims and enhances our position as the leading sportsbook partner in Latin America and across the world.”

RDP is a large fantasy sports operator in Brazil. More than 13.6 million users have downloaded the company’s mobile betting app since its debut in 2019.

Rei do Pitaco CEO and Co-Founder Mateus Dantas said: "We are pleased to have agreed this exciting sports betting partnership with Kambi.

“Through this new operation, we are confident of delivering a market-leading online sportsbook to our fast-growing customer database which will have access to an excellent and safe user experience on our platform."

In other Latin American news, Kambi Group recently signed a multi-year agreement with player account management platform Ondiss, allowing Kambi to provide its sportsbook in Argentina to “at least three operators on an exclusive basis.”

Kambi Group has been active in Argentina since early 2021 when it launched in the Neuquén province with Casino Magic during the first quarter. The company also became the first sportsbook provider to operate in both the city and province of Buenos Aires.
