Greentube’s launch in Pennsylvania continues its US expansion as it looks to enter new markets.

Internet Vikings has partnered with Novomatic’s Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, Greentube, supporting its launch in Pennsylvania.

Internet Vikings CEO and Founder Rickard Vikström said: “Internet Vikings already has a substantial client base in Pennsylvania, as it was one of the first US states where we introduced our services. However, the Greentube project signifies a positive development for both our company and the local market.

“We have created a Vmware Tanzu offering for Greentube’s new platform in accordance with their request. When completed, Internet Vikings will make this unique service offering available to all iGaming and online sports betting businesses in other states too.”

Internet Vikings says its Vmware Tanzu offering will meet Greentube’s “very specific” hosting setup, supplying it with Kubernetes capabilities to manage containerized workloads and services.

Greentube CFO & Chief Games Officer Michael Bauer added: “We aim to deliver quality, tailor-made gaming content that cannot be easily found elsewhere. In order to execute our plans, we needed a partner that could engage closely in our mission.’’

In Internet Vikings, Greentube has partnered with a supplier that has been operating in the US since early 2021.

Internet Vikings COO Kristoffer Ottosson concluded: “From the start, we have been determined to utilize our expertise to provide a solution that matches Greentube’s goals now and in the future.

“The opportunity to support a pioneering business such as Greentube with customized and new solutions was a welcome challenge for us to demonstrate our expertise.’’

This week, it was confirmed that Pennsylvania had outperformed neighboring New Jersey for the month of November.
