The new Latin American operations center for Betsson Group has been opened in Bogota, Colombia. The opening was inaugurated with an event attended by media and private and public sector entities such as Fecoljuegos.
Fecoljuegos is the Colombian Federation of Entrepreneurs of Games of Luck and Chance.
The third quarter of 2022 saw Betsson achieve organic growth of 35% compared to last year. This increase was partially a result of the Latin American, Central and Eastern European and Central Asian markets.
In regard to Latin America, Betsson has planned a strategy based on geographic expansion and diversification.
Betsson Group CEO Jesper Svenson commented: "Latin America is a special region for us, so I am especially happy about the opening of this operations center in Bogota.
"I am confident that, thanks to the talent present in the company, we will continue our progressive growth in the region and contribute to the development of an industry based on responsible entertainment."
Betsson entered the Mexican market in August of 2022 and became the official sponsor of the professional soccer league in Peru and the Women’s and Men’s CONMEBOL Copa America.
