The release follows a successful product launch in New Jersey earlier this fall.

Design Works Gaming (DWG) has extended its US reach into the state of Michigan through its ongoing collaboration with DraftKings. The two shared a New Jersey product launch in September.

Michigan players can access a suite of DWG’s titles, including Double Fancy 7s and 10X Fortune. Titles are available to users through Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform.

DWG has been licensed to operate in Michigan since October 2021, after gaining approval by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB).

DraftKings continues to grow within the US and was recently selected by Amazon to represent the brand as a sponsor for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football (TNF). Both have agreed to a multi-year collaboration that will give football fans access to exclusive betting offers and pregame content on Thursday nights.

In addition to putting together pregame content, DraftKings and Amazon will work in tandem to offer players TNF-themed same-game parlays they can access through the DraftKings Sportsbook app.

DWG CEO Troy Zurawski spoke well of DraftKings’ success and acknowledged the company for its ongoing innovations.

He commented: “DraftKings is one of the initial innovators of the US interactive market and they have carefully constructed a competitive, exciting ecosystem for their players.

“The fact that their team has prioritized bringing DWG titles to every market as fast as possible really speaks to the quality of our content and how it resonates with their players.”

Zurawski went on to discuss the company’s goals to expand within the US online casino market.

He said in closing: “We’re serious about transforming online casino content in the US, and that means taking our games into all regulated jurisdictions across the country.”

In other Michigan news, the MGCB recently published a recommendation, advising parents to communicate with their “tween” and young adult children about responsible gaming safety. The recommendation stems from compelling research conducted by the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) regarding problem gambling and youth.
