Jack Entertainment has unveiled its BetJack sportsbooks at both its Jack Cleveland Casino and Jack Thistledown Racino locations. The Ohio-based company has moved ahead of the upcoming regulatory sports betting launch scheduled for next year.
The BetJack sportsbook is the latest addition to its sports betting mobile platform. Players in Ohio can currently access the free-to-play app that will “transition to real money” once the state goes live.
Jack Entertainment President Brian Eby said the company is excited about bringing its titles to Ohio players.
He commented: “We are excited to debut our state-of-the-art sportsbooks, which will offer unparalleled experiences to Northeast Ohio and quickly will become fan-favorite destinations to watch all the action.
“We owe it to our fellow Ohio sports fans to deliver something great, and we are confident they will not be disappointed. Our sportsbooks at Jack Cleveland Casino and Jack Thistledown Racino will set the standard in Ohio.”
The BetJack Sports wagering platform recently started a contest for Ohio sports betting fans that will give them a chance to win tickets for several upcoming major sporting events, without the need for real money bets. The contest launch is in anticipation of Ohio’s commercial market opening.
Ohio residents can win tickets to several local games by wagering free tokens on BetJack's Training Camp. Tickets up for grabs include the Big 10 Championship in Indianapolis, Ohio State against University of Michigan, Cleveland Cavaliers against the Los Angeles Lakers, Crosstown Shootout and 12 Days of Parlays.
Sports betting in Ohio will launch January 1, 2023. State lawmakers passed House Bill 29 toward the end of 2021, setting statewide legalized sports betting in motion.
