Sports Betting Casino Online Land-Based Kambi signs Four Winds Casinos partnership July 1, 2020 By Owain Flanders Kambi Group has entered into a new partnership agreement with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds Casinos. The sports betting supplier was selected by Four Winds following a competitive tender process. Through the agreement, Kambi will install its on-property sports wagering products in Four Winds’ casino properties in New Buffalo, Dowagiac and Hartford, Michigan. An online launch will also follow at a later date. Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO, said: “We are very proud to be entering this partnership with the Pokagon Band and its Four Winds Casinos. “They are a leading operator in the Midwest and share our commitment to providing customers with consistently engaging experiences.” Frank Kennedy SVP of gaming operations for Four Winds Casinos, said: “We are excited to partner with Kambi to bring sports betting to Four Winds Casinos and take the gaming experience we offer guests to the next level.” Four Winds will announce the details surrounding the sports betting launch in the “near future.” Kambi’s Q1 2020 revenue was up 33% year-on-year, totalling €27.9m ($30m). Profit after tax also rose by 140% to €4.8m, while operating profit was up 162%, to €6.8m. Kambi boss Nylén attributed the company’s performance during the pandemic to mitigating measures and a strong balance sheet.
