Players can register early on mobile devices prior to the official opening date.

BetRivers, operated by Rush Street Interactive (RSI), has released its controlled demonstration period in Maryland for the launch of its online sportsbook. Players will have access to early registration until November 22.

Bettors statewide can register and wager, as well as make deposits and withdraw funds through any mobile device, tablet, desktop and laptop computer.

The company anticipates that its sportsbook will be fully live later this week. The official premiere will start on November 23, pending regulatory approval.

RSI CEO Richard Schwartz noted bettors in Maryland have access to the sportsbook at an opportune time, due to the number of college and professional football games during the Thanksgiving holiday.

He commented: "The much-anticipated launch of online and mobile sports betting in Maryland is here, and just in time for all the NFL and College football action over Thanksgiving.

"We are thrilled to give Maryland's NFL and college football fans an exciting sports betting experience to enjoy all the holiday action at the touch of their fingertips.”

Schwartz went on to discuss the sportsbook’s benefits and the features Maryland players will have at their fingertips.

He continued: "We focus on the player experience and encourage Marylanders to see for themselves why RSI and BetRivers have received numerous recognitions from the industry for the quality of our product and user experience.

"BetRivers offers an innovative yet simple website and app experience, with more and quicker ways to deposit and withdraw funds, all supported by best-in-class customer service that works hard every day to earn and retain player trust."
