The 909 Food Hall will feature a 20K LED archway and over 150 screens for match-day viewing.

Yamaava’ Resort & Casino celebrated the grand opening of its newest venue, the 909 Food Hall, on Thursday last week. The casino has referred to its newest addition as the destination for “food, beer and fandom.”

The food hall will pay homage to its locality, San Manuel in California, with its name – the well-known area code for the ‘Inland Empire’. The venue will offer sports fans 78 seats for bar top gaming, a 50-inch wide matchday screen and the capability to broadcast on over 150 screens.

Yaamava’ teamed up with LUCI System which will develop a “20k LED archway with a 360-degree viewing experience unlike any other in California.”

San Manuel Band of Mission Indian (SMBMI) Tribal citizens, Yaamava’ team members and sports partners including the Sanita Anita Park Bugler celebrated the opening together. Also joining them were sporting alumni in the form of LA Kings player Luc Robitaille and LA Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes.

SMBMI Chairwoman Lynn Valbuena commented: “We are proud to continue to expand our resort and casino to provide a fun and safe entertainment space for a variety of entertainment needs. Our guests can attend a concert, visit the spa and now cheer on their favorite team in a state-of-the-art venue right here in their hometown.”

Yaamava’s Resort & Casino General Manager heaped praise on the SMBMI Tribe for securing this deal. He said: “Game-changing experiences like The 909 are only made possible by the vision of the Tribe and the dedication of our team members.

“The 909 will be the premier place to watch sports in California by providing a world-class 360-degree sports viewing experience combined with best-in-class food and service.

“We are grateful to the Tribe for allowing us to bring this new best-in-class experience to life. Our team has worked tirelessly to create the most fun and exciting space for sports fans and we know The 909 will not disappoint.”
