The operator has given away more than 26,000 vacations during the last 11 years.

Westgate Resorts will kick off its Military Weekend celebration this year by giving free vacations to 1,000 active-duty US military personnel and veterans. This year’s winners will receive a two-night trip to be used next month.

The company has given trips away to veterans and active military for the past 11 years. To date, more than 26,000 vacations have been provided.

To be eligible, military personnel must register through the Westgate Resorts mobile app and complete the online application. The contest will begin at 9AM on November 11. The first 1,000 who register will receive a vacation package for up to four guests to stay at any Studio Villa at Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort from December 9, 2022 to December 11, 2022.

Guests can participate in several family-friendly activities during Westgate's Military Weekend 2022, including live entertainment, an annual 5K run and military vehicle demonstrations.

Westgate Resorts Founder, President and CEO David Siegel said: "It is our honor to welcome and pamper thousands of the most deserving American heroes for a weekend filled with great music, beautiful weather and patriotism.

"Having served in the military myself, I know the importance of quality family time for those who are actively serving or who have recently served our country."

Westgate Resorts was established in 1982 by Siegel and has grown globally as a privately held timeshare company. Since its founding, the company has developed several resorts around the United States, including locations in Florida New York, Utah, Nevada, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, Missouri and Arizona.

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino recently signed a deal with EV Mobility, LLC. to deploy electric vehicles (EVs) for timeshare and hotel guests. This deal instituted EV Mobility’s largest number of Teslas deployed to a single property.
