Entain Foundation US funds NCAA, Epic Risk Management RG education
Thousands of college athletes and staff said to have benefited from the program.
Entain Foundation US has funded a program to help Epic Risk Management provide education to student-athletes, coaches, game officials, healthcare personnel and support personnel about responsible gambling and sports wagering integrity.
The program has been designed to focus on player protection and responsible wagering awareness.
NCAA Executive Vice President for Regulatory Affairs Stan Wilcox commented: “We are pleased that this collaboration has reached so many student-athletes. The risks associated with sports wagering are abundant, and the education provided by Epic Risk Management is invaluable for student-athletes, coaches, administrators and officials.
“We appreciate the teamwork to help protect the integrity of college sports and the well-being of everyone involved.”
With the funding, Epic Risk Management has held 158 in-person sessions in 46 colleges around the country. The program has been implemented in 22 states throughout the US and has provided educational resources for nearly 8,000 NCAA collegiate athletes and staff.

Entain recently partnered with Syntropy to upgrade its network and increase expansion into the metaverse through Ennovate Labs. The Web3 connectivity company will assist Entain with its decentralized autonomous routing protocol (DARP) that connects its centers worldwide.
