The game, a new version of the successful “Call the Shot,” lets fans earn rewards through the team’s in-app loyalty program, Royalty pass. Fans can now use the app to predict over/unders, shooting percentages and player/team totals for Sacramento Teams games.
The new game integrates with the app’s already-existing Fan Challenges, which reward fans for attending games, watching broadcasts and answering trivia questions. Fans can earn rewards such as free food and drinks, free Team Store gear, custom Kings jerseys and even autographed items.
John Rinehart, the President of Business for the Sacramento Kings, praised the new feature. He believes it will increase fan involvement with the team.
“We are constantly working to redefine the fan experience and further engaging them in the sport,” said Rinehart. “Low6 has created the next iteration of Call The Shot, providing fans the opportunity to unlock unique prizes and earn rewards including discounts on food and beverage and exclusive merchandise.”
Low6 CEO and Co-Founder Jamie Mitchell called the company’s partnership with the Kings a “Meeting of the Minds” in a recent press release.
“The Kings organization has proven to be extremely digitally savvy and has led the way with several online initiatives, just as Low6 has, as in 2022 we’ve shown how our fast-moving agile set-up makes us an ideal partner for sports and sports betting brands,” said Mitchell. “It was a pleasure for us to bring the organization’s ideas to life and we look forward to a great season from them.”
